Before receiving her positive BRCA1 status, Allison Lynn thought her life was pre-determined anyways. After losing so many of her loved ones to cancer, including her mother at age 12 from ovarian cancer, Allison just assumed it “ran in the family”. While Allison is positive for the mutation, she now has the courage to do something about it.

What a great blog! Thanks for all your thoughts and your experiences. I am having the one step procedure at the end of the month, and I feel like the count down begins. It is nice to know there are others out there going through all the ups and downs .
